Bis halogenated phenoxyalkanoates and the method of making same

Compounds useful as plant growth regulators having the formula: <IMAGE> WHEREIN X and X' are each halogens, R and R' are each alkyl groups containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and n and n' each have a value from 1 to 5. Method of preparing said compounds is also disclosed.
