PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, when a water-soluble and heat-curing acrylic resin is used as a binder, the shape retaining is bad only with a monofunctional acrylic resin and water retention is bad only with a polyfunctional acrylic resin. SOLUTION: This method for forming powdery ceramic is to prepare a slurry by adding water, a dispersant and a thermosetting acrylic resin as a binder to powdery ceramic and mix them, to pore the slurry into a mold consisting of a material, which does not absorb a solvent and to cure the slurry by heating. In this case, the acrylic resin comprises a mixture consisting of at least one water-soluble monofunctional acrylic resin and at least one water-soluble polyfunctional acrylic resin. The mixing ratio (the volume ratio) of the water-soluble monofunctional acrylic resin and the water-soluble polyfunctional acrylic resin is (99.9:0.1)-(96.0:4.0). The mixture is added in 13-25 volume %. |
