PURPOSE:To adjust the position of a magnetic head with high precision by providing a spring member for unidirectional energizing and an adjusting member which position an output shaft at a motor housing against its energizing force, and adjusting the position of an adjusting member on the output shaft. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head 39 which moves at the center position of the output shaft 17 at right angles to its axial line is moved to the outermost circumference of a magnetic disk 9, and when a track detector 40 is turned on, a stepping motor 29 is driven and stopped to position the magnetic head 39 at a track 00. When a rotating shaft on an undriven side and the fixing position of an adjusting ring 34 are changed properly, the rotating shaft is moved in a proper axial direction by or against the spring force of a compression spring to move the magnetic head 39 corresponding to the track 00 at the outermost circumference of a magnetic sheet 11. The rotating shaft and the adjusting ring 34 are fixed where a track detector 40 outputs a track detection signal by the abutting of the magnetic head 39, thus making the position adjustment. |
