PURPOSE:To accomodate fluid containing coarse, solid body of mass by constructing a crushing device with a semi-circle crushing edge of a valve body and a semi-circle bottom of a valve chamber to perform a valve closure as it cuts and crushes the mass. CONSTITUTION:By withdrawing fore and aft piston rods 4, a valve body 8 moves downward to close the valve as foreign objects such as large size stones are cut and crushed by semi-circle crushing edge 11 and a semi-circle bottm 2a of a valve chamber A. When the fore and aft priston rods 4 are extended, the valve body 8 moves upward in the valve chamber A to return to the valve open position. In this manner, since the closure of the valve causes the coarse, solid body of mass to be cut and crushed, the flow passage can always be shut off completely. |
