PURPOSE:To prevent the scuff of a cup in a master cylinder by setting the timing of the actuation of a throttle disposed in a passage connecting the master cylinder to a wheel cylinder to such a moment subsequent to depressing a brake pedal. CONSTITUTION:When a brake pedal 146 is depressed, a control unit 140 maintains a control signal S at low level at the moment when the brake takes effect. A hydraulic pressure control valve 144 is situated on the spring side, and the brake fluid from the master cylinder 108 can apply both left and right brakes via a switch valve 142 and the hydraulic pressure control valve 144. In this manner, the brake fluid does not passes through a throttle 118, and an abrupt pressure increase inside the master cylinder 108 is prevented, and as a result, there will be no scuff of a cup. |
