PURPOSE:To avoid the collisions of data for a system where data are transmitted via the same transmission line by setting different prescribed periods to each terminal. CONSTITUTION:In case the signal on a transmission line 1 keeps a prescribed level for a set prescribed period of time or longer, an idle state is judged to start the transmission of data. In such a data transmission system, the different prescribed periods of time are set to each terminal. The detection circuits DET1-DETn judge an idle state of the line 1 unless the line 1 is set at a low level before the lapse of times t1-tn set to each terminal in case the transmission requests are delivered from transmission circuits TX1-TXn. Then switching circuits SW1-SW2 are changed to make contacts 1m-nm respectively. |
