PURPOSE:To adapt stably a titled device to a wide-spread developing speed by opposing a nonmagnetic scraper to a latent image forming medium to be developed, and also bringing at least one end of the nonmagnetic scraper into contact with a nonmagnetic sleeve of a magnet roll so as not to obstruct its rotation. CONSTITUTION:A toner brush 7 led to an air-gap is detached from a mechanical carrying force of a nonmagnetic sleeve 4, and advances in the direction as indicated with an arrow (c) by using a rotating magnetic field of a permanent magnet 3 as a main carrying force. As it approaches the other end of a nonmagnetic scraper 8, a magnetic carrying force of the permanent magnet 3 is attenuated, therefore, it becomes stagnant as the end point in which the magnetic carrying is impossible on the nonmagnetic scraper 8. However, within the range on which the rotating magnetic field extends, on the outside periphery of the nonmagnetic sleeve 4 and on the nonmagnetic scraper 8, an active rotating motion of a toner chain is repeated in the inside of the toner brush 7. In this way, as a matter of fact, the developing part in this device becomes an extended range extending from a connentional developing part 9 to the end point in which the toner brush 7 on the nonmagnetic scraper 8 becomes stagnant, and in this range, a latent image on a latent image forming medium 1 is developed and a toner image is formed. |
