PURPOSE:To automatically detect the coincidence of slip number between an inserted slip form and a display format data by constructing such that the slip number of the inserted slip form is read out and compared with the slip number of the display format and executing the printing only when the comparison results coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:A format corresponding to the screen of a display unit 1 and a CRT screen number represented by a corresponding slip number are fed to a print data memory 9 in a printer 10. The CRT screen number is stored temporarily in a CRT screen number memory 14. The slip number of a slip format 20 is scanned optically by means of a light source L at a point A in the way of a feeding path 6 and detected by means of a charge coupled element (CCD) 11 then a slip number code is recognized at a recognizing section 12 and stored in a slip number memory 13. Thereafter, respective outputs from said number memories 13, 14 are fed to AND gate 15 the output signal from which is fed to a printer control section 8 thus controlling such that the printing is executed only when said output codes coincide. Consequently, erroneous insertion of an unfit slip format can be eliminated. |
