PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of color recording by providing an ink layer containing a coloring agent mixed with a fatty acid diethanol amid compound shown by a specific formula onto one face of a heat-resistant basic material thus forming a heatsensitive transfer recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A coloring agent, a vehicle fusable through heating and a fatty acid diethanol amid compound shown by a formula (where, R represents a straight chain acid, an iso acid, an anti-iso acid and/or an oxy acid residual group) are dissolved into a proper solvent. Then said solution is applied onto one face of a heat resistant basic material to provide an ink layer thus forming a heatsensitive transfer recording medium. The coloring agent is selected from random organic or inorganic pigments or dyes with the heat resistance and the weather resistance thereof being considered. The heatsensitive basic material includes a plastic film, a glassine paper, a metal foil, a metal deposition film, etc. |
