CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF CLAD MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a clad material having high bonding strength in an arbitrary cladding ratio by atomizing and depositing a molten metal to form a lower layer material as a base material, making the shape of the material regular, forming an upper layer material on the lower layer material and continuously rolling them. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal 3 for a base material is atomized and deposited on a deposition bed 7 to form a lower layer material 9. This material 9 as a base material having the function of a deposition bed is successively drawn from the bed 7 and the shape is made regular with pinch rolls 8. A molten metal 4 for a cladding material is then atomized and deposited on the lower layer material 9 having a flattened surface to form an upper layer material 10. The deposited two-layered materials are rolled down with rolling rolls 11 to obtain a clad material 12.
