PURPOSE:To cut off a leakage of light and an invasion of an excessive light from the outside, and to prevent the generation of a flare by forming one body at least one lens of an objective lens and an illuminating lens, in a tip part formed by a light transmissive material, and providing a light shielding member on the periphery of this lens. CONSTITUTION:A tip part body 2 of a tip part 1 provided on the tip of an inserting part of an endoscope is formed as one body by a light transmissive material such as a synthetic resin having light transmissivity or glass having light transmissivity, etc. Also, an objective lens 3 and illuminating lenses 4, 4 are formed as one body with the tip part body 2 by the same light transmissive material as that of the tip part body 2, and on the periphery of said objective lens 3 and illuminating lenses 4, 4, ring-shaped light shielding members 6... are provided so as to surround them. The tip of an observation optical system 8 consisting of the objective lens 3 and an optical fiber bundle 7, namely, the periphery of the objective lens 3 is surrounded by the light shielding member 6, therefore, it does not occur that an excessive light invades from the outside, and a flare, etc., can be prevented.
