PURPOSE:To shorten computating time, by using an integral number of articles converted to weight or a detected weight converted to number of articles to obtain a combination of weights equal or close to a target weight. CONSTITUTION:Weight signals from weight detectors 2 (21-2n) of a weighing hopper in which a plurality of objects are held with a unit weight almost uniform are outputted as number signal by multiplying weights d1-dn by N/W (W is target weight and N target number) from a divider 18 with a multiplier 12 via an A/D converter 10. The number signals are made integral with a rounding circuit 20 to be multiplied by W/N from a divider 24 with a multiplier 22 and added to corresponding weight signals d1-dn with an adder 26 and, then, divided by 2 with a divider 28 to be turned to combination weight signals D1-Dn, which are stored into a memory 30. The signals are given in 2<n>-1 combinations with a selector section 34 by 2<n>-1 combination signals from a generator section 32 and added up together to subtract W from the results with an adder/subtractor 38. Deviation thus obtained is compared with upper and lower limit weight deviations by a decision section 40, and then, objects within the range of weight thus obtained are discharged from the hopper. |
