PURPOSE:To eliminate a fixing work such as a screw fastening and the like, simplify a formation of a duct and improve a productivity by a method wherein a lower part of a resilient duct is of a rectangular heavy steel rod and closely brought in contact with an air suction panel, fixed to a main body of an air conditioner and further a deformation preventing fixed plate is arranged at a central part of an elongated screw. CONSTITUTION:A expansion cloth duct 4 is fixed to an upper filter storing duct with four long screws 6. In turn, its lower portion is fixed to a suction panel 8. At this time, the expansion cloth duct 4 reaches a part near an upper part of the suction panel 8 by a weight of a heavy steel rod 5 fixed to the lower part. In order to adjust a height, the long screws 6 are pulled up and the suction panel 8 is closely brought into contact and connected by the weight of this heavy steel rod 5. In turn, the cloth duct 4 is deformed by a sucking action of an air blower 9 to receive a force deforming inwardly. Due to this fact, it is supported and connected at the central portions of the long screws 6 with a stop ring 15. Deformation of the cloth duct 4 is prevented by a duct deformation prohibiting plate 14. With this arrangement, the cloth duct 4 can have a simplified shape and then its manufacturing cost can be reduced. |
