PURPOSE:To facilitate setting, eliminate the need for special engaging means and make mold release easier by forming a recessed surface corresponding to a piece of a reversed sheet cover assembly on the side of the base of an elevated surface, setting said assembly on the elevated surface so as to cover it and expansion-molding a sheet cushion pad integrally with said assembly. CONSTITUTION:A reversed sheet cover assembly 11A is placed over an elevated mold surface 20 of a lower mold 18 in such a manner that corresponding parts 16a-16d, 15a, 15b are aligned with protrusions 22a-22d, 24a, 24b and pieces 12a-12c, 13a, 13b, 14a-14c are snugly fitted to recessed surfaces 21a-21c, 23a, 23b, 25a-25c. Thereafter, a foaming agent is put into the mold and an upper mold 26 is placed to close the mold, in which the outer periphery of the assembly 11A is clamped between the under surface 26a of the mold 26 and a base board 19. By effecting expansion molding and curing, a sheet cusion pad 30 is formed integrally with the assembly 11A, so that a foam sheet integral with skin can be formed. |
