PURPOSE:To control supply of a fuel gas oxidating agent gas in accordance with the demand power of the load, and operate a fuel cell always in the condition with a high power generating efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A power generation part is divided in a plurality of power generation fragments 1, 1-1, 1-2, and fuel is supplied through fuel supply lines 22-1, 22-2, 22-3 and valves 10, 10-1, 10-2 as divided corresponding to the above dividing while the air for reaction is supplied through air supply lines 71, 81, 91 and blowers 7, 8, 9 alike divided correspondingly. These valves 10, 10-1, 10-2 and blowers 7, 8, 9 are controlled by a control part 6 according to the power generation output. and the number of power generation fragments 1, 1-1, 1-1 in operation is increased or decreased. |
