PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part item recognition device capable of properly recognize a part item by giving proper lighting to every electronic part item to be recognized. SOLUTION: A part attaching device which has an attracting nozzle 30 provided on a movable head 20 controlled in movement on a fixed base 10, and attractingly holds the electronic part 50 for transporting it to a wiring substrate 60 and attaching it thereto is provided with a part item recognition device 200 to image-pick up the attracted state of the electronic part item 50 for recognizing it. The part item recognizing device 200 has a lighting unit provided with many LED, and an attaching base plate to support each LED is moved by a driving motor through a belt transmission mechanism to vary the angle of an illuminating light produced by each LED, and therefore the best illumination can be carried out according to the kinds of the picked up electronic part item 5 to make the proper recognition of various electronic part item 50. |
