PURPOSE:To provide a vibrating gyroscope capable of reducing the material cost, rationalizing the manufacturing process, and simplifying the driving circuit of the vibrating gyroscope. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating gyroscope 20 contains a triangle pole-like vibrator 22. The vibrator 22 is made of a constant-elasticity metal material. Support members 24 are fitted at the ridge line section near the node point of the vibrator 22, and the support members 24 are fixed to a support base 26. Piezoelectric elements 28, 30 are formed on two faces across the ridge line section fitted with the support members 24. The piezoelectric elements 28, 30 are used for driving to bend and vibrate the vibrator 22 and for detecting the output signal to extract the output. |
