Fire extinguisher fill level monitoring method

The method involves measuring the temp. difference between points inside or at the fire extinguisher body, to determine the fill level of an extinguishing or driving fluid. The points are connected to the fluid in the container. When the temp. difference between two points exceeds a defined tolerance level, the measurement is interpreted as a fluid level boundary between the two points. When the temp. difference drops below the tolerance value, it is an indication that the extinguishing fluid is present at least up to a specific fill level boundary. The temp. difference is detected and evaluated electronically, and is monitored constantly or in short periods. Temp. dependent resistors may be used for temp. measurement.
