The container can be handled by a forklift truck or building-site crane. By accommodating scaffolding tubes and other components inside it, it prevents these tipping over and consequent injury, e.g. to children playing underneath, nor does it allow the contents to slide when in transit. It comprises profiled tubular components, and incorporates a steel plate supporting other components, also a further plate holding the scaffolding tubes upright. To assist stacking, the underside slopes upwards.
