Method and equipment for controlling domestic AC loads

In a procedure for controlling domestic AC loads with regard to the total connected load, the total connected load and/or a number of connected loads is specified as a threshold and monitored. The actual values of certain parameters are measured and the switching-on of each load (3) takes place accordingly. A transmitter(11) on a load firsts sends a calling signal. This goes to a receiver (12) on the load and is evaluated depending on a preset value and is acknowledged by a start or stop signal, also received by the transmitter. A stop signal puts the load on stand-by followed by switch-on at the end of the stand-by period whereas a start signal switches it on immediately.
