PURPOSE:To enable a hull and a driving unit to be separated so as to be easily transported by detachably fitting a driving unit having an engine part and a jet part into a recessed part formed in a hull. CONSTITUTION:When a motorboat is transported by a passenger car, a driving unit 5 is separated from the recessed part 3 of a hull 1 by removing bolts 12 and nuts, and the transportation is carried out by putting the hull 1 on the roof of the passenger car and putting the driving unit 5 in the trunk of the car. When the motorboat which is made up of assembling the separated driving unit 5 into the hull 1 is used for sailing, the driving unit 5 is pushed into the recessed part 3 of the hull 1 so as to be supported between both sides 2, 2 of the stern of the hull 1 in the form of an inboard engine. In this condition, a jet part is operated by driving the engine part of the driving unit 5 to jet water flow toward the rear side of the hull 1, thereby the driving unit detachable motorboat can be sailed at high speed even in shallows. |
