PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IRDA communication control circuit which is not easily influenced by extraneous infrared light. SOLUTION: An IR(infrared rays) light-receiving part 25 detects infrared light and outputs a detection signal. An extraneous infrared light level detecting part 11 extracts a low-frequency element in the detection signal from the part 25 and fetches a stationary element level by an extraneous infrared light. A light-emitting drive current variable controlling part 12 controls drive current of an IR light-emitting part 23 and an auxiliary IR light-emitting part 13 according to a detected stationary element level.
