METHOD FOR INSPECTING CONCRETE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a concrete structure whereby the presence/absence of the necessity for repairing of the concrete structure, particularly, column or prism concrete stricture like a concrete pier, etc., can be judged easily and correctly. SOLUTION: A plurality of sections parallel to one another are set to the concrete structure of a column or prism. The waveform of a propagated elastic wave when an elastic wave is input in measured at each section. The energy value or the count of waveforms of a predetermined or larger amplitude is obtained from the waveform of the propagated elastic wave. The obtained energy value or count is compared with an energy value or count of the section of the largest energy value or count, whereby integrity of each part of the concrete structure is estimated.
