FIELD: manual electronically-controlled drawing and writing devices. SUBSTANCE: device has electrically-driven writing head intended for application of signs on surface for writing and pickup for detection of moment at which writing head moves in any direction in plane parallel to this surface. Device also includes facility which actuates head when pickup detects movement of writing head and surface with respect to each other. Writing head can apply signs of different kinds and sized on surface for writing and for this purpose it is provided with facilities for selection of definite sign from signs of different kinds and sized.
