PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit that discriminates presence of a specific image in an image with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In this image processing method, two color extract blocks 6-1, 6-2 of a binary processing section 1 apply binary processing to an input image respectively by black and red colors, an OR circuit 7 outputs ORed data of the processed data and the resulting data are stored in a storage device 2, a mark detection section 3 extracts square mark from the image data of the storage device 2, an image segmentation section 4 extracts the mark surrounded by square marks, and a matching section 5 obtains a degree of matching between the extracted mark and a setting mark and outputs the result. |
