PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make printing at high speed by simultaneously performing printing two successive sheets of originals, regardless of an original kind. SOLUTION: This color image forming device 10 is, incorporating developing units 18 and 26. In the case of printing plural originals 36 among which the color original and monochrome original are mixed in, while the toner image of the respective color (Y, C and M) is developed by the developing unit 18, printing of the next original 36 (color original or monochrome original) is started. That is, when the original of first sheet 36 is the color original, the toner image of BK corresponding to the monochrome image incorporated in the color original is transferred by the photoreceptor 14, and the paper sheet 38a is transported to the photoreceptor 12 side. In the meantime, development for the toner image in color is started. During the time of developing the toner image in color, a memory 32a is renewed by data of the toner image in BK corresponding to the monochrome image on the subsequent original 36, the toner image of BK is developed by the developing unit 26. |
