PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the test of the I/F of a tested device containing an USB I/F by checking the test data stored in a FIFO buffer of a test device after the data are transferred to the tested device. SOLUTION: When the function of an USB I/F of a tested device 2 is tested, the data are sent from the device 2 with a FIFO buffer 12 of a test device 1 connected to the device 2 via a USB used as the address. The characteristic of the device l is previously set at the device 2, and a USB I/F control part 11 receives the data from the device 2 in a transmission mode corresponding to the set characteristic of the device 1 and stores the data in the buffer 12. When all data are written in the buffer 12, the part 11 is switched to a mode to send the data from the device 1. Thus, the part 11 sends the data stored in the buffer 12 to the device 2 to compare them with the data which are precedently sent to the device 1 and accordingly can confirm the transmitting and receiving states. |
