PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal computer system which facilitates the setting of peripheral equipment, the installation of software, etc., and can optionally select and use necessary functions. SOLUTION: Constitution elements of a computer such as a microprocessor, a storage device, an interface device, a device driver, and a program are mounted on an IC card storing device equipped with connectors for connecting the peripheral equipment and used when necessary. Those devices, etc., have no mechanically driven part, so the power consumption is made less than conventional one. |
