PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing device which has the dust filter low in pressure drop and free from local clogging and in which the pleats of the dust filter do not fall down. SOLUTION: This dust removing device is used in an image forming device having an exhausting means for discharging the air in the image forming device to the outside through the pleat-shaped dust filter. An air sucking port for sucking air in the dust filter and an air discharging port for discharging the air to an exhausting fan are arranged at the positions far from each other and the direction of the pleat of the filter is coincided with the direction from the air sucking port to the air discharging port, which is described in claim 1 of this patent. As a result, the pressure drop at the dust filter is reduced, the whole surface of the dust filter is efficiently used and the local clogging of the dust filter is prevented. |
