SCREENING METHOD OF ANTIVIRAL AGENT BY PROTEIN-PRIMING ACTIVITY OF HEPATITIS B VIRUS DNA POLYMERASE

PURPOSE: Provided is a screening method of an antiviral agent by the protein-priming activity of hepatitis B virus(HBV) DNA Polymers, which method can develop an antiviral agent having a high selectivity to hepatitis B virus and can be used for high-throughput screening. CONSTITUTION: The screening method comprises the steps of: constructing a baculo expression vector which contains a recombinant HBV DNA polymerase gene having FLAG-His-6 and represented by SEQ ID NO:1; transfecting the baculo expression vector into an insect cell to manufacture a baculo virus which expresses HBV DNA polymerase; infecting an insect cell with the baculo virus to express HBV DNA polymerase; and separating HBV DNA polymerase from the insect cell to measure protein-priming activity.
