PURPOSE: To provide an insulation cover sheathed type crimping sleeve allowing a core to be easily inserted therein and suited for hot line work. CONSTITUTION: This insulation cover sheathed type crimping sleeve comprises a sleeve body made of metal and an insulation cover. The cover comprises a sheath part made of an electrical insulation material provided so as to cover the outer circumference of the sleeve body and a projection part integrally extending from the sheath part. The sleeve is provided with grooves running along the inner circumference of an inner wall of the projection part and between the front end position of the projection part and a position keeping a prescribed distance from the sleeve body.
