PURPOSE: A system for managing a remote building using a communication device and a method thereof are provided to manage an entrance and exit to a building of an external visitor in a remote place. CONSTITUTION: In a system for managing an opening and closing of a building entrance and exit door using a communication device(20) in a remote place away from a building, an interphone is installed in the building. A communication chip(30) transmits the first signal to the communication device(20) and receives the second signal from the communication device(20). A micro processor(40) is connected with the communication chip(30) and transmits/receives the first signal and the second signal. A memory element(50) is connected with the micro processor(40). An opening and closing of the building entrance and exit door is controlled by the interphone being controlled by the communication device(20) by a remote control.
