摘要 PURPOSE: A structure for mounting a pressure compensating type anti-freezing liner is provided to remove unnecessary processing procedure of a piston and a cylinder head carried out in the test for measure friction force between the piston and the liner, thereby reducing the time required for the test and preventing the change of motion pattern of the piston processing. CONSTITUTION: A structure for mounting a pressure compensating type anti-freezing liner includes a cylinder block(5) having a holding shoulder(17) protruded inwardly along an upper peripheral surface of a bore(7), a protrusion(19) formed inwardly along the peripheral surface at a lower part, a plurality of O-ring grooves(21,23,25) formed between the protrusion part and a lower part of the holding shoulder, and an atmospheric pressure channel formed at a side of the O-ring grooves to be communicated to the atmosphere, wherein the liner(3) has an upper combustion pressure compensating surface(33) corresponding to the holding shoulder of the cylinder block, a lower combustion pressure compensating surface(37) corresponding to the protrusion of the cylinder block, a plurality of vertical contacting surfaces(41,43,45) formed with different phases correspondingly to the O-ring grooves of the cylinder block for contacting O-rings secured to the O-ring grooves, and a combustion pressure channel(47) formed in an upper part of the liner between the holding shoulder and the protrusion of the cylinder block to connect the upper and lower combustion pressure compensating surfaces to each other.
