PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode wound-type battery suitably used for supplying heavy current. SOLUTION: In a wound body 40, a positive electrode 41 and a negative electrode 42 are wound in the winding direction S with a separator, not shown in a drawing, in between. The displacementαbetween a starting end of a positive electrode active material non-forming part 41b and a starting end of a negative electrode active material non-forming part 42b opposite to the positive electrode active material non-forming part 41b is determined between the positive electrode 41 and the negative electrode 42, and the displacementβbetween a terminal end of the positive electrode active material non-forming part 41b and a terminal end of the negative electrode active material non- forming part 42b opposite to the positive electrode active material non-forming part 41b is determined. A length L2 of each positive electrode active material non-forming area 41b is determined to L2>=2πR (for example, L2=2πR+α+β). |
