摘要 PURPOSE: An electric power control method of induction heating furnace for controlling alloy of zinc coated steel is provided to optimize operation factors. CONSTITUTION: When plating process is conducted by an induction heating furnace(6) and cracking furnaces(8,10) for alloying after an amount of plating solution to be applied on a strip is adjusted by air knife(4), the induced electricity(P) applied to the induction heating furnace is determined by the follow equation: P={kx(T1-T2)xNxbsxtxk1xk2 xgr}/e where P: total power input, k: control constant(8.65x10¬-5), N: line speed(25-160mpm), t: strip thickness(0.4-2.5mm), bs: strip width(700-1900mm), T1: strip temperature before input into induction heating furnace(420-460°C), T2: strip temperature after input into induction heating furnace(550-600°C), k1: aluminum concentration in zinc bath(0.99-1.01), k2: types of strip(0.98-1.03), gr: an amount of plating(0.90-1.12), e: constant on strip width(0-1.0).
