PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with large discharging capacity, superb cycle characteristics and low-temperature discharging characteristics. SOLUTION: With the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery provided with a cathode, an anode including a carbon material, an organic electrolyte solution consisting of a solute and a solvent, and a separator, the solvent includes ethylene carbonate(EC), propylene carbonate(PC), chained carbonate and phenylethylene carbonate, and the content of the chained carbonate against total volume of ethylene carbonate(EC), propylene carbonate(PC), and the chained carbonate is to be 5 to 90 vol.%, the content of ethylene carbonate 5 to 45 vol.%, and the content of propylene carbonate 5 to 45 vol.%, and the content of phenylethylene carbonate against total weight of electrolyte solution is to be 0.1 to 5.0 wt.%. |
