<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the wire deformation by a method wherein the ball forming device is provided with a rocking arm having an electromagnetic attraction piece which is rockingly provided on one end, a discharge electrode arranged on the other end of the rocking arm, and an electromagnet holding the discharge magnet on the discharging position beneath a capillary. SOLUTION: A rocking arm 11 provided extending in vertical direction is rockingly supported in the arrow A direction by a horizontal supporting axle 12 on almost central part in the long direction, while a discharging electrode 15 is fixed to the lower end of the rocking arm 11. An electromagnet 17 rocks the rocking arms 11 so as to hold the discharge electrode 15 on the discharging position beneath a capillary 3. A movable stopper 25 advances in supplying power to a plunger type electromagnet 23 for moving the first locking point so as to move the discharge electrode 15 to the first evading position at the distance of e1 from the position beneath the capillary 3. Besides, the movable stopper 25 retracts during the non-power supplying for moving to the second engaging point so as to move the discharge electrode 15 from the first evading position to the second evading position.</p> |
