<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor relay for efficiently transmitting a fault diagnosis signal corresponding to a plurality of kinds of faults without complicating a system. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor relay 20 controls the driving of an air pump 24 and an electromagnetic opening/closing valve 28, based on a driving request signal from a control computer 10. A fault diagnostic circuit 22 detects a plurality of kinds of faults in the air pump 24 and the electromagnetic opening/closing valve 28, and transmits the fault diagnosis signal corresponding to the detected fault to the control computer 10.
