AIR DUCT, AND ARTICLE CARRYING VEHICLE AND STATION HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the air flow velocity at an opening formed in an air duct in a configuration of forming an air curtain as a protective means of an article transfer passage by ejecting air from the air duct disposed around an article delivery port when delivering articles between an article carrying vehicle and a station.

SOLUTION: An air duct 12 disposed around an article delivery port is provided on a carrying vehicle 2 having an article storage chamber with an article delivery port 9b to deliver articles between the carrying vehicle and a station disposed along a traveling passage. The air duct 12 has openings 13, 13 or the like to eject air therefrom, and a plurality of mesh members 51 as air ejection adjustment means to give resistance to the air ejected from each opening 13.
