STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING TERMINAL PART OF ELECTRODE OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL COMPRISING THE SAME

A structure for connecting a terminal electrode of a plasma display panel and the plasma display panel comprising the same are provided to safely connect a discharge electrode with a terminal electrode by using a connection unit and an intercepting barrier. A plasma display panel(100) comprises a pair of substrates(110), a barrier(120), a pair of hold electrodes(130), an address electrode(140), and a signal transfer unit(150). The pair of substrates includes a first substrate(111) and a second substrate(112) which are put opposite at a predetermined distance. The barrier is arranged between the pair of the substrates and defines a discharge cell(160) with the pair of the substrate. A dielectric layer(170) is formed between the pair of the substrate. A discharge electrode comprises a discharge unit(131a) and an exposure unit(131b). A terminal electrode(136) is formed by contacting to the dielectric layer. A connecting unit(138) connects electrically to the exposure unit and the terminal electrode. An intercepting barrier(125) is arranged between the connecting units to insulate between the connecting units. One of the signal transfer unit contacts to the terminal electrode.
