An ice bank is provided to prevent damage of an ice storage container or an auger by buffering repulsive force or shock power transmitted to the ice storage container or the auger, by moving the auger back when repulsive force or shock power of ice is over predetermined force. An ice storage container(100) stores ice discharged from an ice machine. A driving unit(200) generates driving power. An ice transfer device(300) is arranged inside the ice storage container and is rotatively combined with the driving unit for transferring and discharging ice. The ice transfer device is elastically installed to go back if predetermined reaction is applied due to ice. The ice transfer device includes an auger(310) combined with a driving shaft of the driving unit for transferring and discharging ice, and an elastic member(320) arranged at a combination part of the driving shaft and the auger for applying elastic force to the auger.
