The coder has two coaxial control axes (2, 3). The first axis is a cylindrical rod which is engaged by the second axis with a tubular shape. Both axes are made of nickel-chrome steel. A coding disc (10A) is attached to the first axis, while a second disc (10B) is attached to the second axis. Both disc are made of aluminium. The axes are placed in a casing (45) which houses a PCB (11). Situated between the two discs. The PCB presents a number of emitter-receiver pairs (40, 60) which transmit/receive optical signals coded by the two discs.
