An array substrate and a display panel having the same are provided to minimize bad effects that a luminance change due to parasitic capacitors between a pixel electrode and a data line occurs according to overlapping only a second pixel unit in which low voltage of a first pixel unit voltage and a second pixel unit voltage is applied, thereby improving display quality of an image. An array substrate and a display panel having the same comprise the following parts: a pixel electrode(800) having a first pixel unit and a second pixel unit for surrounding outsides of the first pixel unit; a data line(400) having a first data line which is overlapped with a part of the second pixel unit and a second data line which is overlapped with a part of the second pixel unit; a gate line(200) which is formed along a second direction which is vertically formed against one of an up part and a low part of the pixel electrode; and a thin film transistor(600) having a first transistor and a second transistor. |
