Composition and process for treating concrete

The disclosure relates to a composition, comprising: (a) at least one organohydrocarbyloxysilane represented by the formula wherein R¹, R² and R³ are independently hydrocarbyl groups containing from 1 to about 8 carbon atoms, and R⁴ is a hydrocarbyl group containing from 1 to about 22 carbon atoms; and (b) at least one polymer derived from styrene and/or at least one styrene derivative, and at least one comonomer comprising one or more of acrylic acid, (meth)acrylic acid, acrylonitrile, and/or at least one alkyl (meth)acrylate. In one embodiment, the composition further comprises (c) at least one fluid, the organohydrocarbyloxysilane (a) and polymer (b) being dispersed in the fluid. This composition may be used for treating concrete surfaces.
