An illuminant method and device using LEDs as the optical source, wherein a plurality of LEDs (1) in an array are arranged on an LED lamp bracket (2), a lens device is arranged at the front of each LED (1), the region to be irradiated is divided into a plurality of illuminant units (3) according to the number of the LEDs, and each LED (1) is corresponding to one illuminant unit (3). By adjusting the focal length of each lens device or selecting lenses with different beam convergent angles when the focal length is fixed, and adjusting or selecting suitable illuminant angles of LEDs, the light spot formed on the region to be irradiate just covers the corresponding illuminant unit (3) thereof after the irradiating beam from the LED (1) is focused by the lens. Thus, a dead angle is absent, and the brightness is uniform in the whole illuminant region. Each LED (1) is arranged on the LED lamp bracket (2) with a suitable interval, and the case of each LED (1) is exposed to the air. |
