PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image observation apparatus, a read image display control device, and a read image display control method capable of determining the possibility of attention states being missed in a medical image, depending on the display characteristics of the medical image observation apparatus.SOLUTION: The medical image observation apparatus comprises: a display unit having a predetermined display performance; an image acquisition unit 52 for acquiring a medical image; a list acquisition unit 53 for acquiring for each case an attention finding list in which observation attention states, or attention findings, expected to be contained in a medical image of a site relating to a case are associated with the required display performance for the case; an insecure attention finding extraction unit 54 for extracting, on the basis of the attention finding list, insecure attention findings or attention findings for which the current display performance of the display unit of the own machine is insufficient relative to the required display performance among the attention findings corresponding to the medical image; and a warning information generation unit 57 for generating observation warning information which prompts for attention as to the insecure attention findings during the medical image on the display unit being observed, depending on the degree of insufficiency of the current display performance relative to the required display performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
