PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a railroad vehicle which can achieve elongation of a life of an inverter device.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 for a railroad vehicle includes: a refrigeration cycle 6 equipped with an indoor heat exchanger 20, a compressor 30, an outdoor heat exchanger 40, and a decompression device 41; an indoor blower 21 for blowing air, which is heat-exchanged in the indoor heat exchanger 20, into a cabin 110; a draft air duct 8 for guiding air into the cabin 110; an inverter device 50 which supplies electric power of a variable frequency to at least one of the compressor 30 and the indoor blower 21; a cooler 51 for cooling the inverter device 50; a duct 7 which is communicated with the draft air duct 8 and supplies a part of air to the cooler 51; and a movable partition part 70 which is formed in the duct 7 and adjusts an opening ratio of the duct 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
