PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a film-decorated component, by which a film-decorated component can be obtained by an easy work without requiring a new process in a vacuum forming method or a vacuum pressure forming method, and peeling or breakage of a decorative film material can be decreased, and a film-decorated component produced by the above method.SOLUTION: There is provided a vacuum forming apparatus 10 having vacuum chambers 4, 5 configured to accommodate a resin base material 2 mounted on a receiving fixture 1 and to be capable of holding a decorative film material 3 therebetween above the resin base material, the decorative film material having an adhesive layer 8 formed on a lower surface of the film; and the production method aims to form a film-decorated component 20 by adhering the decorative film material 3 to the resin base material 2 mounted on the receiving fixture 1 by vacuum forming or vacuum pressure forming. An auxiliary rib 23 is disposed on a lower surface of the resin base material 2, the rib being formed downward along a boundary line 22 of a region 21 to be decorated of the resin base material 2. A decorative film material 31 adhered to the auxiliary rib 23 is cut together with the auxiliary rib 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
