A lift truck attachment for attaching a device (10), such as a scale to the lift truck (T) includes an upper carriage support (18), a lower carriage support (22) spaced from and opposing the upper carriage support and a device attachment region disposed between and essentially flush with the upper and lower carriage supports (18, 22). The device is attached between the upper and lower carriage supports and nests with the upper and lower carriage supports to reduce the effective distance between the lift truck mast (40) and the load carrying members, such as the loading forks (14). |
