PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable, taste-masked, ready-to-use suspension of rifaximin, and to provide a preparation method thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a stable, taste-masked, ready-to-use suspension comprising rifaximin dispersed in a suspension base and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable additives, and a preparation method thereof comprising dispersing rifaximin into a suspension base comprising one or more pharmaceutically acceptable additives, and further milling the suspension in which rifaximin is dispersed in order to obtain a homogenously dispersed rifaximin suspension. Preferably, the ready-to-use suspension has pH of 2-8 and viscosity of 20-200 Cps.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
